Dover Rod & Gun Club's New Logo

The respective organization approved this very challenging, yet fun to execute, logo design.  A simpler version has already been embroidered on hunting caps, and the more detailed version below will be printed on t-shirts and the club's other promotional materials.

VegTek Website Development

I was hired to develop a website for Vegtek Argri Inc., an agricultural and industrial vegetation extermination company serving parts of Southwestern Ontario.  The website was coded in HTML and CSS, with a bit of Javascript and Dreamweaver behaviours.  You can explore the website at vegtek.com.  (Clicking the link or image below will open a new window and load the site.)

Music Project Logo Type Design

I decided to redesign the logo for my music project under the name Force Carrier.  I started with sketches, then "live traced" and edited my favourite version in Adobe Illustrator.  The music itself is of the Metal genre and the project theme is inspired by cosmology, astronomy, and a few other fields of science.

'Year of Faith' Type Makeover

A parish near my hometown needed a sign for 'Year of Faith', a Catholic celebration, and asked my mom if she could help.  So, she came to me and I offered my services.  Basically, I used the image of the arc from the official 'Year of Faith' logo being used by the Catholic Church, but altered the typography in hopes of making the sign more visually pleasing for the parishioners who will be seeing it.  If you're curious about the official logo's typography, click here for english the version, and here for the french.

 

Educational Resource Catalogue

Here is some work I did for Sonsuh Educational Supplies in Toronto.  Along with the cover, I designed and created the page templates for each catalogue section inside, and chose the overall typographic style.  I also laid out all the content for a few of the sections (several pages, some of which are sampled below), converted hundreds of images of their products for print.

Barry Bird Album Art

This was a project I completed a few months ago for Native American Gospel/Blues artist, Barry Bird, of Walpole Island, Ontario.  While it was Bird's general concept and layout, he allowed me a great deal of freedom in terms of typography, colour and texture.
